Today most of Australia is under the grip of an extreme heat wave.
This is making life for us laid-back Aussies just a tad difficult.
Well, this Aussie anyway.
I hate, hate, hate the heat. This is WHY I moved to Tasmania.
A State of mediterranean style weather, kinda..that’s what all the gardening books tell you anyway.
Where I live is in a valley on a river. So we don’t get sea breezes to cool us in summer, just hot dry winds that are currently gusting up to 70kms an hour, making going outside an exercise in keeping my skirt from lifting up & revealing all my….glory. It’s unbelievably hot & undies are annoying. I’ll leave it there.
And because I’m bored & hot & cranky I’m now going to share some pictures of things I’d rather be doing right about now.

Im a perth girl.. its not to bad here today! but still. I would rather it be winter again. I am lucky to have an amazing air con that sits at 16-19 even when it was in the 40s the last few days. would hate not to have it. would die. no joke
my ceiling fan is running flat out…and the beer is going down nicely…no aircon here…just flannels & ice
